Hey

Im trying to download symbols for the production enviroment. But it fails. First i got "internal server error" and when i cleaned the cache to login again it wont accept my credentials. Even tho they are right.

Anyone has experience of this?

Thanks!

    Hi, just adding some info.

In vs code, you can only do snapshot Debugging in Production environment.

Snapshot Debugging (Debugging in Cloud Production)

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.

Make sure your Sandbox environment is actually called Sandbox.  We have renamed ours and if I forget this it won't connect.

Close all your Chrome/Edge pages and make sure it isn't running in the background (to make sure it's not picking up the wrong credentials somewhere).

    Hi,

You can't Download symbols form the Production Environment. you need user sandbox Environment for downloading the symbols.

VSCode can only connect to a sandbox, not a production environment. In a production environment, you can do the following:

To install an extension by using the client

    1. In Dynamics 365 Business Central, use search to open the Extension Management page.

In the Extension Management window, you can view the extensions that are published to your server. For each extension, you can see the current installation status.

    2. Choose an extension to see additional information and to install the extension.

    3. Review and accept the license agreement.

    4. Choose the Install button to install the extension.

Is it a BC Saas production environment? VSCode can only connect to sandboxes, that might be why?
