Filtering in Word Template - Dynamics 365 ?

Hi there!

Is there a way to filter/sort in Word Template?

I want to show only the active records of an entity based on a field "Status". Is there a way to do it , other than creating custom entity to copy only the active records?

currently, there is no way to do this. It is such a frustrating limitation of the templates.

I used this solution to achieve better templates, but it comes at a cost dynamicsobjects.com/.../Dynamics-Docs-Download
