Hi,

I have tried from the rights and removed rights for "Export to Excel".

Still user is enabled to export Lead list, account list, contact list, opportunity list to export in excel.

Is it bug or is there something i am missing in configuration.

Please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

This shouldn't the case - are you sure that the user doesn't have more than one security role?

Also - sometime it can take a while for security role changes to take effect.

Can you post a screen shot of where the export to excel still appears?

    Thanks,

    Scott

This looks right - you only have a single role for this user.

Can you post a screen shot of where the user sees being able to export to excel.

I click on Sales->Accounts->Export to Excel.

I have login with the same user and export the list page of accounts.

    Is this CRM2013?

Are there any ribbon customisations on the Accounts entity where the Export to Excel button is customised?

We have removed exporting to Excel for some of our users by just removing the "Export to Excel"

so its strange this is not working for you.

Is the user in a Team? If so the Team might have the permission.

G Sav has a good point - the security roles are addative and so if the user is in a team that is assigned a role with Export to Excel then this would give them the same effective permissions. You can't remove a right - only add to them.

Check if these user belong to any team having role with "export to excel" privilege.

User may be getting rights from any of the role assigned to such team, please verify.

    Thanks,

    Vijay
