This sounds like a great idea. However, in Sales Order processing, given Customers could have several, if not many (large chain customers), Ship-to Address, this is where you setup the Ship-to information. If you have not done so already, off the Customer Card, click Navigate/Ship-to Addresses. Here you can setup an Ship-to Address Code and its related information, like phone, email, etc...), related to just that Ship-to Address.

Then on the Sales Order, Shipping Fast Tab, you select Ship-to - Alternate Shipping Address and a pop-up appears so you can select from the Ship-to Addresses list:
