I have created a custom entity with a lookup field, (Order Name) to the Order entity. All my fields display correctly in the Default Public View for this custom entity, but when I created a custom view for it, my lookup field containing the Order name does not display any data. What am I missed? Why doesn't the lookup field display data in a custom view when it does display the data in the default view?

Hi,

From what I can see, it appears to be data related. Since Order Name field is a look up to Order entity , the name field on order entity is blank for the affected records.

To confirm, use advance Find to query for one of the order status record with blank Order name , e.g. ORD-01959-R9W5Q1, and check if the name field of the queried record has data or not.

Since I was able to upload a zip file, I tried saving my word doc with the screenshots in a zipped format and uploaded.

Ok, let's try another approach then,

can you try and share the custom entity metadata so I can try the same on my org. That will help to see if I can reproduce the same issue you have and can then should be able to come up with a solution

This is where I get the error. I click on the media icon, upload my file, click Post, and an error says "An error occurred while attempting to save this post."

You need to attach via icon as shown in the attachment

That is what I tried but I get an error when I clicked Submit, so I tried to copy and paste in the rich text window?

These are the options I see

Maybe if I have text with the copy paste, it will work?

You need to click on the rich text link and then attach
