Why is the aging report displaying the balances with a negative sign?

    Because payables are credit transactions (credit is indicated by negative sign).

    @Inge is correct and it is something that you have to get very used to in BC. General Ledger account balances, financial statements, et al use the standard accounting sign for al transactions.
