Multiple mileage tiers setup

Having trouble with system selecting correct mileage rate as per below tier setup.

So logic is if under or equal to 5000 kms, 0.61/km rate applies. If accumulation is from 5001 - 20,000 then 0.34/km applies. Anything accumulating above that is 0.41/mile. But on testing, its applying as below:

What are we doing wrong in the setup? Why is 0.34 not being applied after the first 5000 kms?

Many thanks
Mamta

I just had a play in my sandbox environment to make some examples; you need to change the mileage rates.
To follow your logic, the mileage should look something like this (Except that Quantity should be 5000, wanted to try to make it split in my example)

I.e Quantity is a mileage from.

Do keep in mind that changing the rates will not update the mileage rates on the employee.

The view you see on the employee is the accumulated mileage per rate (or "Sats" if you look at the table, representing the Danish origin of this functionality).
In my example, I've posted 3 expenses for this worker: 5000 km, 5000 km, and 500 km.
This results in an employee mileage sum that looks like this:

When you post the expense report, F&O will automatically split the mileages so that they match the rates based on the sum for the fiscal year.
If you still have issues with the rates, I'd like to see one of your reports to when it should make this split.

    Hi Jonas,

Thank you for your response. We are on D365 version 10.0.40 and have been using the Quantity column in the mileage setup as the maximum mileage rather than the minimum. Our UK entities are also setup in similar fashion and thats working fine. See below
