hi,

We created the editable grid in opportunity .

Now when i select the lookup it fetch the data from from lookup record and lookup field is editable 

i want to make it read only after data inserted in the field

    Could you describe how you created the editable grid.

    I propore that you configure this in the security role setting.

    Uncheck the write role and check the create role of the current user.
