Sales Invoice Lines - Paste from Excel

Hi

I'm trying to paste lines into a sales invoice from Excel. I've set up the columns in my spreadsheet to match the sales invoice in Business Central. Everything is pasting in fine, other than the line discount % which always gets set to 100 in the line when it's pasted in. I've tried putting zeros in my spreadsheet, spaces, 0% etc but it the line discount field always gets set to 100 when I paste in the line.

Does anyone know why this is and how to overcome?

Thanks in advance

    Phil,

    Follow these steps:

    1. Make sure the columns in Excel match that of the Sales Line (see my example below)

    2. Now highlight the row value(s) in Excel and CTRL-C

    3. Using your Mouse, while hovering over Type Item (in my pic), right-click and choose Paste

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Steve

I'm still struggling with this, following is my Excel file.

Highlighting the row and pressing CTRL-C

When I try and paste into the sales invoice line, I'm not seeing a paste option. I'm using Chrome as web browser not sure if that makes any difference?

    Phil,

Try this... While highlighting the Line, delete the line. Now it is a fresh line just in case. Here is my test using your scenario:

Remember, using your mouse just hover over the Type and right-click. The Paste should appear.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
