how do I look up information associated with an Audit Trail Code?

I'm a data guy and don't know much about GP. I only use it to validate that the datasources I'm creating for people are accurate against GP.

There's a Journal Entry and I know a part of the distribution is associated with a rebate that I am trying to validate. I figure out how to look up the journal entry but don't know how to dig deeper. I'm guessing I can look up additional information thats associated with the Audit Trail Code

Have you given the cross reference report a try?

In GP 2010 -- Under Reports |Financial| Cross Reference

This report allows you to choose by Journal Entry, Source Document and Audit Trail Code.

Thank you for the detailed steps. I'm trying it right now. I choose Audit Trial and click on print.

I don't think I'm doing it right because I don't see where I can enter which audit trail code to cross reference

In the report option window, if the Range is set to Audit Trail Code, you should be able to enter the code(s) in the From and To box. click Insert to restrict the report.
