Change Inventory Sync Parameters in the Shopify Connector

Hello,

We are using the Inventory sync function on the Business Central - Shopify connector. It seems to work well, but we would prefer if our projected inventory was synced to the "Available" field on Shopify rather than "On Hand". Is this possible?

Thank you for your time,
Jules

Hello, In the Business Central - Shopify connector, the standard inventory sync updates Shopify's "On Hand" field based on Business Central's available inventory. Unfortunately, the connector does not natively support syncing projected inventory to the "Available" field in Shopify.
There is one possibility  is to customize the synchronization logic by modifying the Inventory Calculation Formula in Business Central or using Power Automate to push the projected inventory values to Shopify via API. You may also explore using Shopify’s inventory adjustment settings or third-party apps to achieve this.

Hope this answer will help you!
