How to fix an error code 0x80040353

Hello Everyone:

I'm import products into a Price List and I'm getting an error code

is there away to fix this.

Any help would be great.

As per description of error.. your lookup reference is not resolved.

Damon the error:

Error 0X80040353 means the “lookup reference could not be resolved.”

Based on your picture, please check the Unit, whether the value (check the column = Column Value) all are exist in your current CRM Unit Master Data or Not.

Damon,

Based on the picture, Can you check:

Add Compact Fluorescent Lamp - and

Add HID Lamp

They do exist or not in the Unit CRM.

Hi Damon,

Your import has failed because system not able to find as a record what you are importing known as Lookup reference could not be resolved. Which can happen because of incorrect name or typo etc.

In your instance i can see, in the csv/xml file, column 'unit' is there & you are trying to import 'add compact floroscent lamp' in that; it seems you have swapped unit and description/product name columns. Unit in CRM would be Box/ Crate/ML/KG/Litre etc

I guess thats why the import is failing, Please correct the data in your csv/xml and try re-importing, it will work.

Will I tried fixing the error code and I'm still getting the error messages.

I even when so far as to copy the info and pasted it into the spreadsheet.

There is only One Base Unit and Unit.

The Good thing I guess is there is only 8 Products but we have 6 different Pricelist.

Hi Damon,

If possible giving us the screenshot of your error now.

If you only have 1 unit, this is can be the error cause because the "Add Fluorescent lamp" and "Add HID Lamp" are definitely not existing Unit.

Damon,

I cannot see the pictures clearly, but I saw slightly better in the error message, it said Lookup cannot be resolved, have you made sure that the your lookup record are existing Master records since it is dependency.

If you only have 1 unit, based on your error, you tried to lookup Unit to 4 different values, I'm just wondering, maybe you should check your mapping correctly or not, it seems you map 4 different values to the Unit, which you only have 1 unit.
