I have a user that is creating a communication workflow that has wait conditions. She wants to create an Phone Call Activity with a Due Date and I suggested that she use something like Due 1 Day After Process Execution Time. That was when she asked a very insightful question: What does process Execution Time mean? Is it when the process starts, or when it ends? Or is it triggered on the particular step that has the Wait Condition? Off the bat I didn't have a good answer. I am currently in RTFM mode, but if any one has cracked the code on this I would love to hear your insights.
TIA - Jay

Process Execution Time is the "current time" at the moment that it is applied. So if you start a Workflow on May 1st and wait for 25 days to update a datefield with the Process Execution Time then the value of the field will become May 26th.

Hope this helps
Thanks Raj. I have seen this post, but I wanted to be sure that PET meant “when the workflow was initially triggered”. If that is what the post intended to say, I’m good!
Process execution time contains date and time when the process has been executed.
