Looking for an ISV or add-on that allows Drop-ship and Standard PO Line items on one Purchase Order

Does anyone know of a 3rd party or solution that would allow us to take a line item on a PO and make it a drop ship? The scenario is that there are many line items on a PO and if a vendor cannot provide the product to our warehouse in a timely fashion, they will drop ship partial line items to a customer. Currently we have to cancel those items and then create a new Drop Ship PO, and then we have to go into the SOP Order and make those line items a Drop Ship line item. Beyond that, when we print the packing slip, we only want (at this particular time) the drop ship items to appear on the packing slip. If you have any solution, or partial solution that can be further customized, we need to talk!!! Thank you.

Hello,

I think it’s achievable using eConnect or Dynamics GP Web Services

1) Take your standard PO , give user interface to Select Item(s) want to create drop ship.

2) Cancel whole PO or Partial ( I believe whole PO)

3) Give user interface to select Sales Order and option to select Item as Drop Ship Item and update Sales Order

4) Lastly Sales Order Packing Slip- doesn’t print Drop ship item -create custom report for same.

Using .net with eConnect or Dynamics GP Web Service can handler all updates and creating new Drop Ship PO.
