Job cards system generated by BC users

We have noticed that we have Jobs automatically created by some users randomly and are unsure why this is happening. In our Job list there are a number that have a Job number and the status shows as Open but contain no other detail. If we inspect the pages further we can see they are system generated by some of our users but we are not sure what they are doing to create these as there are no clues in the Job Queue Log Entries. We can see some jobs via the Job Queue Log Entries. for those users at around the same time as the Job card is created but the Object Caption to Run is RC Headlines Executor, Object Type 1442, Parameter 1441. This doesn't look to us that this job is what is generating the Job card. Has anyone seen this happen before in their system?
I have the same question (0)

Sorry, I may not understand your question. Does the Job Card here refer to the Job (Project) Card? Or the Job Queue Entry Card? You can see the Application type or External User in the User table. These are automatically created by the system.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

It is the Job as it Table 167. We don't use the No. Series for JOB creations as we create our own number series when we upload Jobs via the Config. Package. What we did this morning was discover that there is a No. Series for Jobs so we ended it thinking that would stop them from automatically create. Then we heard from a user that they couldn't use the filter page on the Jobs page as there was no No. Series. What is looks like is each time they are filtering on this page it is creating a new Job No. as we've unblocked the No. Series so they can filter and now these random Jobs are being created.

Without the use of Extensions, Jobs are created manually in Business Central.  It is possible you have a customization that is causing the creation of a Job.  I would suggest reviewing your Extension Management for anything remotely related to Jobs.  You could also look at the Page Inspection on the Job list to see what Extensions are applied.

Also keep in mind if you hit +New on the Jobs list and a No. fills in, that record will stay even if the User immediately closes the record.  Some Users assume they can simply back out of a mistake and it will go away, but if the record has already been established, they need to learn how to clear the mistake.
