In the environment settings / features the enable custom help panes button is disabled (greyed out). How do you enable it so that you can set it "On"?

    To enable the "Custom Help Panes" feature in Dynamics 365, follow these steps:

    1. Check Version Requirements: Ensure your environment is on version 9.1.0.10300 or later.

    2. Enable Learning Path: Sometimes, enabling the Learning Path feature first can help. Go to Settings > Administration > System Settings. On the General tab, set Enable Learning Path to Yes.

    3. Enable Custom Help Panes:

      • Open a model-driven app.
      • Select Settings > Advanced Settings.
      • Navigate to Settings > System > Administration.
      • On the Administration page, select System Settings.
      • On the General tab, under Set custom Help URL, set Enable Custom Help Panes and Guided Tasks to Yes.

    4. Check Security Roles: Ensure that the user has the necessary privileges. The System Administrator and System Customizer roles should have the required permissions.

    If the button is still greyed out, it might be due to specific environment settings or permissions. Double-check that all prerequisites are met and that there are no conflicting settings.
