Performance issues in generating electronic accounting with high transaction volume

Hello everyone,

We have a client with 40,000 transactions, and when generating electronic accounting, it takes a long time. The last one I generated took 9 hours. However, the client says it doesn't generate anything. Microsoft replied that this delay is due to the transaction volume, but my boss's boss insists it should be achievable because, according to the client, other companies manage to generate electronic accounting with even higher transaction volumes. Has anyone faced a similar issue and found a solution to improve performance?

Thanks in advance.

if the transactions are manufacturing related, it might be caused by system working on calculate/updating/posting cost related entries. 40000 is by any means a big number and it is reasonable to expect longer than usual processing time.

Can you expand on what modules you're using? What are the 40,000 transactions that you're posting? For example, if you're using the inventory module there are ways to set it up that can speed it up the system. Job queues can be used to post transactions during off hours. Likewise for posting purchase/sale transactions.

I personally think this is the biggest problem with BC. When the amount of data is large, the performance will obviously deteriorate. . . . If this is standard functionality and no customization has been done, there is no way to fix this, and we have no way to optimize the existing functionality unless we completely redo it.
As for other solutions, for example, if you can divide the 40,000 transactions into 10 executions, can this solve this problem?
