In FRX reports, how do I modify a column format so that other information appears in the column for a few specific rows on the report?  Is this controlled in the row format? If so how is this done?

My report is set up as follows:

Current | % | Budget | % | Last Year |  Description |  YTD Curr | % | YTD Budget | % | Last Year |

On the 1st few lines of the report I want to show some statistical information that does not follow the column or row formats that I have established. Is there some way to do this in the row fomat?

    Hi Peggy,

    We call this feature "forcing" in FRx. You typically use this in the row format to override what is in the column. In order to do this:

    1. Usually you will want to set the options under Report Options | Advanced to calculate columns first. This will print your % or other numbers, and then what is in the row will override these values to take priority.

    2. If you have a combination of GL or other data you want on the same line get your data using link to Excel or link to GL and non-print (NP) the row that gathers your detail.

    3. Use the example formula here for row 190.

    CAL C=B100, D=B130

    This will place the value of Column B Row 100 into Column C on row 190, and place the value of Column B Row 130 info Column D of Row 190.

    I'm having the same issues and tried the examples noted in response to your question to no aval, any other suggestions to this issue. My issue relates more to rounding a statistical number in the same column as rounded financial data.
