Save view in Business Central List Pages

Good morning!

Can users create and save views on list pages with filters and their selected fields?

In NAV 2018, it was possible to save for example a filtered view of Items list page with only Item Nr, Desc and Stock, just three columns, and this was very handy for our sales staff

In BC when we try to change the columns in a saved view, we also change those columns in the other views based on that list. So it seems it is only possible to save filters on Views, and not select fields, is that correct?

Thank you,
I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

You can click on the highlighted icon to save the filters.

You're correct - field order and visibility are not controlled by views but are instead managed through user personalization or profile customization.

Hi, There is a Detached layout view in BC that can do what you mentioned, but as of now, it can only be created through AL code.
    More details:
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Shared layout view and Detached layout view (Unique layouts of the columns on a list)

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Thank you all for your responses. It seems I will need to learn more about AL language in order to achieve saving columns in filtered views!
