Hi,
Is there any news from Microsoft on when CRM2016/365 will be able to work with SQL Server 2017 please? I am hoping this is not too far away?
Thanks,
Andrew

I have the same question (0)Hi
Dynamics CRM 2016 officially does not yet support 2017
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/3124955/compatibility-with-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2016
But Dynamics 365 seems to be supporting SQL Server 2017, please see below
Any one of the following SQL Server editions is required, running, and available for Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/on-premises/software-requirements-for-microsoft-dynamics-365-server
The following is a comment from a community user
"I was able to make it work with SQL Server 2017. But you need to have the Reporting Services on a SQL 2016 instance (named instance on my case). The only problem is the Reporting Services node. There is a filter in the Microsoft application that excludes versions over SQL 2016."
