How can I view detail for a parent company in Frx so all sub companies show up as columns and financial data shows up as rows? Is that even possible?

Just to add a tiny bit to what Susan wrote. If you log in to the Film Works company in FRx, there are a few consolidated reports, drawing data from Film Works and Film Works Canada. Should give you a couple of examples to start going by.

This is where trees come in for FRx. Depending on whether each Sub company is a database or whether it is part of your chart of Accounts for the Parent Company. If you look at the documentation that comes with FRx (User Guides) usually located under your C:\Program Files\FRx Software\FRx 6.7\Help\LangFiles\Guides\en-us\ Then go to the Report Designer and go to reporting trees. You can use the tree you build in your column setup (Reporting Unit) and define which unit you want for each column. Then with your rows defining your accounts and your columns defined by your tree you should have the report you want.
