Hi All,

Can someone guide me on which certifications should I do for SCM and Finance and what's the right approach to prepare for it? I'm a functional consultant who has just been introduced to D365.

Thanks,
Shivam

    Hi Shivam,

    Welcome to Dynamics world.

Mb-300 is Core certification , you can say common for Finance and SCM.

Once MB-300 is completed, you can do MB-330 to become SCM Functional Consultant and MB-310 for Finance.

You can find more information below :

You can also watch my youtube channel where i recently explained about how to decide career path as Functional Consultant

    Hi,
This blog lists the relevant certifications of D365, which mentions the following:

Functional consultants with experience working in finance departments analyzing business requirements and translating them into business processes and solutions should explore Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (pass two exams: Exam MB-300, linked to earlier in this post, and Exam MB-310). The Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant journey map can help you start your journey to certification.

Business users and functional consultants with a fundamental understanding of supply chain management industry standards should consider Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (pass two exams: Exam MB-300 and MB-330). To start your journey to certification, check out the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant journey map.

You can check this blog. If you have any questions about D365 certification in the future, this blog will provide you with a quick way.

Note that MB-300 will be retired in Feb 2024, reducing the number of exams needed to achieve certain certifications.

    Hello Shivam,

Best approach would be start with MB 920, followed by MB 330 or MB 335 as per your need and then aim for MB 300.

Also, try for PL 900 and AZ 900.
