List product history

Hi,

Looking for guidance on how to customise the system (CRM 2013) so that previous product or booking history is visible on a new booking entity. What is the best way to display this and in what type of field? Say it was the previous 3 products purchased.

Thanks

    RE: List product history

    Hi,

Thanks for that - makes sense. So you would obviously need to create a booking history for this to become effective. My company currently don't use CRM to manage bookings so trying to migrate over a working formula for tracking opportunities against bookings. For future reference can you just create a list view of things. Almost like an option set except you would be selecting multiple for reference to on the form. I suspect not.

Can you please clarify a little bit?

Do you want to list this on the booking form when you create a new booking, based on the Customer (Contact)?

If this is the case, then it's fairly easy. You need to create a Quick View for the Contact record. In the Quick View create a subgrid containing the list of bookings. Add the Quick View to the booking form. When a new booking is created and the customer is selected, the list of old bookings will appear in the subgrid.
