I have a client that wants to list the credit card name (Visa/MC, Amex, Discover, etc.) on sales order Payment Methods

Can the payment methods just be the different credit cards? Or do you want payment method of credit card and then child records as the types? If it's the latter then a modification is needed.

So, I could make Payment Method be Visa/MC, Amex, Discover, etc. and avoid parent/child records? Would work for me since it's just a way to remind customer how they paid.
