Hi,
Is there any way to customize the KB Article so that I can attach files or images to it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot attach files to the KB article and you can't customize it, as it is an system entity. The only thing you can do is select and copy content from a website and insert it in the text of the article. This works also with images. Furthermore you could insert links to the files.
