Insert Record With Control File?

Hi All,

My Company has been working with Dynamics for about 18 months now.  I feel like I have a good handle on using Transaction imports, but I have run into a speed bump.  We have been using several different versions of a 40100 Control Macro to import orders for different clients we do business with.

For a new client, we would like to import a "MiscCharges" line item that does not appear in the data file.  We basically want to fabricate a line from the control file that does not appear in the data file.  We have hard coded Values in the control file, but If we don't put a line in the data file at the end with "MiscCharges" in column A, the data we hard code doesn't show up.

Is there a way to create a "MiscCharges" line item on a Sales Order without having a line for it in the data file?

    Without the MiscCharges row in the data file, the TI process does not know there is data to be imported.  The CTL file is the map, and can contain static values, but without the row in the data file, it does not know there is an action to be taken.
