Hi all,

There is a requirement to have the standard date format DD/MM/YYYY in license plates for outbound process. Please let us know if this can be achieved. The user options will work for one user only. We need for all warehouse users.

 Currently this is MM/DD/YYYY format.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

It was implemented in such a way that different users can switch the date format instead forcing users to work with a date format they are not familiar with. There is no standard way to achieve this as far as I know.

Basically, the users want to see the the specific date format, therefore, it has to be specified on the user setup\options.

You can do it via excel add in:

In the designer add preferredlocale and then you need to manually filter the warehouse workers, change their date and time format and publish the changes to D365FO.

    Kind regards, Adis

    HI CU12110707-0,

As Adis said the answer is No - Date formats at the application level are driven from User settings in D365 F&SCM. However, if you are looking to do so on a warehouse mobile app through Zebra scanning devices then you can do so at the devices level.

In addition to the Excel add-ins you can achieve date formats at the reporting level - SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS Reports) or through PowerBI reports etc.

    Good day,

Do you mean on the license plate label (ZPL code)?

    Best regards,

If you mean on the lables through ZPL - that can be done through cresting a new display method using the format you want.

    Hi

If we create a new user in the warehouse worker page, The newly created user does not show in the userinformation export excel, How do we change the preferredlocale for these warehouse users?

    Hi,

You need to open the user in excel as displayed in my very first screenshot.
Once the excel opens and data is loaded you need to do the following steps in the data connector pane on the very right.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi,  and ,

The preferred locale is ar-AE. which is DD/MM/YYYY format.

However, the new warehouse app is still printing MM/DD/YYYY.

To ask Laurens question again: you mean the format for date printed on a Licence Plate label?

If so, have you tried defining the date, time and number format here?
