Inventory Valuation Report (1001) for bins

Hello everyone,

When we generate Inventory Valuation Report (1001) we can se that we can use Bin filter:

But this filter doesn't work. I want to ask you if this is a mistake that this filter is available there because it is hard to run this report with Bin filter? Do you know maybe any other way to generate Vaulues and Quantities of items in the bins?
I have the same question (0)

I think this Report goes through Item Ledger Entries, and as there is no such field Bin Code in Item Ledger Entries, it is quite hard to filter by it :)

Not sure why the filter is available in this list to add for this report - I think it has to be some default filter list, and some of them can have effect on specific reports, but otherwise are just ignored.

I guessed that due to the source of data for this report (Item ledger entries) and the lack of bins on these entires it might be difficult to generate.
Do you know of another way to verify the contents of the bins in terms of quantity and value? Apart from creating separate g/l accounts in the chart of accounts for each bin?

You can open a page Warehouse Entries and filter and export to excel or use Configuration package to export table data for table 7312 (Warehouse entries)
You can add filter to Bin Code and Posting Date on the page or for the Config. package before exporting, and generate a report (Pivot table in Excel) from these entries.

Did anyone found a way to achieve this, we need a inventory valuation by location and bin.

This make no sense for me, if inventory can not be valuated by bin, what is the pourpose of setting up them?
