Unable to import any entity data

Hello,

I am trying to import data like Contacts, Customers, leads but nothing is getting import. Doing separately of each entity but no success. On the import process window just getting message Submitted even after waiting for a while just showing Submitted. 

Have restarted the Dynamic sync service also restarted the server also tried with different browser but still unable to import.

Please help.

    If you navigate to Data Management / Imports do you see your import job status there?

    Hi,

    Yes and shows as Submitted and Jobs are 0  0 with no any error.

    Hi,

    Did you check if there is any error log under event viewer (assuming you are using on premise)

    I have seen this before but restarting Asyn service helped me.

    Hi Syed,

    After restarting the Async service try to import the file again. I would suggest to try it wit a smaller file to rule out any issues with the size of the data.

    Hi All,

    We using On-Premise 2016. Have restarted the ASync several times. still no luck.

    Even tried with just 2 or 3 records. but still it is not getting upload.

    From time to time - submitted Imports are waiting to be processed and sometimes will be in queue for a day before they get processes.  This is not expected behavior and indicates an issue with a backend async service.

    Step 1: Restart Both Microsoft Dynamics CRM Asynchronous Processing Service and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Asynchronous Processing Service (Maintenance)

    Step 2, Check your eventlogs

    Step 3. Verify you Data Import file if they are correct.

    Hi Ravi,

    Yes, it was working perfect before. we had uploaded almost 2000 records without any error. Later we had update Dynamic CRM 2016 SP2 after that it is not working.

    Even did repair to MS CRM.

    Hello All - Thanks for the answers and help !

    Issue is fixed and able to import now.

    I got the solution this way, Went to Services.MSC --> Stopped ASYNC Service --> on the Log on Tab --> It was showing as NETWORK SERVICE then i changed to admin user name and set password then restarted the service back.

    After this, all the pending jobs are started working.

    SOLUTIONS : ASYNC user should have admin privilege.
