Is there any guideline what number to put Operation No. in Routing and how can I know when should I create the type as Work Centre or Machine Centre in Navision 2018?

Hi Community,

May I know is there any guidelines to indicate in the Operation No.? I don't understand why I see that the Operation No. below is 10 instead of 1.

Also, how can I know when should I create the type as Work Centre or Machine Centre ?

Kindly advise.

    Hi, It looks like you are referring to the manual on MS Docs......

    Generally, the operations in a routing are assigned a continuous number (operation number). This number lets you identify an operation and distinguish one operation from another.
