40.100.00 Date Requested in SL2011

The Date requested is populated with a very old date:  11/9/2009 not todays date.  The customization mode is standard and I checked the business date and the date in the OS and they are correct.  Where is this screen pulling the date to populate the date requested field?

    Steve,

    Thanks for posting.  I understand that you have already created a case with support for this issue.  I see that the support engineer has written this up as bug 23600 and has submitted it to development.  

    Unfortunately at this time the only work around I can offer you is to click the New button or Ctrl + N prior to entering any order information.  

    Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    This bug has not been fixed, but the following code set in as an all user customization will correct the problem: Place code in Sales order Number control:

    Private Sub cordnbr_0_Chk(ChkStrg As String, retval As Integer)

    If InStr(ChkStrg, "NEW") > 0 Then

       Call ApplSetfocus("cinvtid_1")

       Call ApplSetfocus("csotypeid_0")

    End If
