Hello Experts,

Please need help to install business central on my Surface system window 10.

If someone can take my system remotely and fix the issue to install that will be appreciable.

It looks like you're facing a permission issue while installing the demo version of Business Central. The error message indicates that you don’t have the required permissions to create a database on the SQL Server instance 'BCDEMO'.

Try the below methods

Run the Installer as Administrator

Right-click on the setup.exe file and select Run as Administrator.

Check SQL Server Permissions

Ensure your user account has sysadmin or dbcreator permissions in SQL Server.

Open SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), connect to the instance, and check if your user has the necessary rights.

Manually Create the Database (if the issue persists)

Open SSMS and manually create a database named BCDEMO.

Try the installation again.

Check for Active SQL Server Services

Open Services.msc and ensure SQL Server (BCDEMO) is running.

Disable UAC (User Account Control) Temporarily

Search for UAC in Windows and set it to Never Notify, then restart your system and try the installation again.

You need administrator permissions, so when you run the install, use Run as Administrator and that should fix those issues.
