Requisition Workflow History GP2013r2

Hi, we use the Requisitioning Functionality within GP2013r2 and have workflow set up. We can view workflow history of these requisitions until such time as they are "Purchased", i.e. created in to Purchase Orders (POs).

After this, attempting to view the workflow history of a requisition states: "The record has been deleted since you opened the window."

Has anyone found a solution to being able to view workflow history on Purchased Requisitions? We need to keep this history for audit purposes.

If I open up the Requisition, the View History button is blanked out:

I am currently trying to combine tables in smartlist builder, the workflow history is still in GP, the only problem I've encountered is that the workflow history table doesn't contain the requisition number i just have not found the right combo of tables to get the right information. In smarlist builder that table is called workflow history. I think its WFI10003 in SQL.

This has to be a bug or total oversight by Microsoft. The history is really important to have especially after it is purchased.
