Muhammad,
First let me apologize for taking so long to get back to you. I reviewed some SQL video training before attempting to run the find duplicate scripts. The offending duplicate record was found in the PM20000 module and subsequently deleted. After the deletion, we ran check links and we were able to run the Aged Trial balance. Again, thank you for your help and I apologize for taking so long to respond.
For anyone who read this post: I found my answer in the section (DBMS: 2627 refers to a duplicate key error and is covered in more detail in the article: Identifying Duplicate Transactions). The SQL script --PM Duplicates script found the duplicate record which pointed me in the right direction to delete it. After the deletion, we ran Check Links on the PM modules. Check Links corrected something which allowed us to successfully run our Aged Trial Balance.
Mark, I finally got a chance to install and run the Find PM Dups v10.0 and nothing showed up as duplicate records. I am open to other suggestions if you or anyone else have any.
Muhammad Zubair - We ran check links on the purchasing module with no problems found. Thank you very much for responding.
Mark DaCar- I am not familiar with customer source. Could you paste the link to the download in a reply message please? Thank you for replying also.
Downloan the Find PM Dups v10.0 from customer source. Run this against the company that has the issue. You will get several choices to find which tables have the duplicates. Just delete from the table which only has the one transaction
Did you run check links for purchasing?
