How to create sales work, load and shipment per each sales order line?

Each sales order line should create its own sales work, load and shipment.

I don't use the Load planning workbench but a batch job for Automatic release of sales orders. Here, I filter for each order line number. There must be a better way? Maybe in Location directives?

I would be grateful for any ideas for solution!

    Hi EduardsV,
The magic happens at the Wave Template.   When you release to warehouse, the Wave is executed based on the wave template.  You can apply a limit to the Wave Template so that the is a Wave-Load-Work for each sales line:

How to create sales work, load and shipment per each sales order line?
    Hi?

Any feedback on this request? We also need to fulfill the same requirement. Work header breaks in work templates would allow  to create unique work for every line, but they still would be consolidated in the same shipment and load.

We also need to get 5 works = 5 shipments = 5 loads principle so that we can further post packing slip/invoice to every work separately.

My guess is you would have to do something with the Work template. First, you would need to ensure there is no auto consolidation you have going on with your Wave templates, or Shipment consolidation policies so that it wont try to group multiple Work Ids for the same order into a shipment. For work templates, you will have to edit the query so that can find the right field to create a Work header break against.

When you Edit query, you can add a Sort for use with Work header breaks. I could not sort on Sales order table then Sales line as it threw an error, but I could Sort on Temporary work transactions table then order line:

Click OK after adding that Sort, and it will make the "Work header breaks" button available as shown in my earlier screenshot, then you can click "Group by this field":

Not sure if this will definitely work, but worth a try.

My question is not how to create sales work, load and shipment in general, but a specific question when using form Automatic release of sales orders, how to limit creation of sales work, load and shipment to each sales order line. If you use Automatic release of sales orders, all sales line on one sales order creates work for one load and shipment and on one packing slip. I want to have each sales line own its own sales work, load and shipment.

    Hi Johan,

When simply creating Picking list for a Sales order, completing the Registration and posting the Packing slip, the Shipment details are recorded in WMSSHIPMENT table.
