Hi Everyone, i'm new at CRM.

And i have a issue which is rather annoying, i'm trying to configure crm for outlook, and i receive the following error: "networkname cannot be found" (roughly translated from danish to english.

 

Please help me..

    system is ms crm 4.0 with RO 13

    and i can access crm:5555 from the webclient

    I think your network is not able to resolve the name crm which you need to enter at intranet address of connect to Microsoft Dynamic CRM screen when you run the wizard.

    You can try, If you have the IP address of the CRM server , modify your hosts file by adding the IP address and name below the line 127.0.0.1       localhost. But before doing this better to have the backup of hosts file.

    Also - when you browse to http://crm:5555 do you login automaticaly?  It should login automaticaly if the workstation and server are in the same domain.

    Hi again, thanks for the input, actually i found a fix on another website, but my problem was that i hadn't installed crm with the same user, who was going to use it.

    so i needed to uninstall crm and sql, make the user admin, and then install again.

    now it works :)
