Hello Everyone,

I have few queries on the Manufacturing module.

1. In Shop Calendar, can I create a morning shift (8:00 AM - 5.00PM) and night shift (6.00 PM - 2.00 AM) in a single calendar? If No, should I create a duplicate work centre for assigning the different shop calendar code?

2. In reality, what is work centre and work centre group in the Manufactuing industry?

Yes you can have 2 or more shifts per calendar.

I realise this is an old post - how did you set up the Shop Calendar to run a shift into the next day 2am? - when I try this I get an error.

If a work shift spans midnight, you can enter two lines for each day, one ending at 11:59:59 P.M., and the one next starting at 12:00:00 A.M
