How do I see the actual date and time of an entry in Business Central?

Hi,

I am trying to find an option that will let me see when a particular entry was created in Business Central.  My colleague could have entered a posting date and description of 08/30/2024, but he may have actually entered it on 09/04/2024 @ 5:00pm. Is there a way to see in BC what the actual date and time of the posted entry was? We are doing clean-up from previous employees and need to understand what entries came into a prior period after the fact, previously the periods were not being closed when financials were generated and this has created an issue where financials don't match prior reports due to reversing or correcting entries being incorrectly added to what should have a closed period.
I have the same question (0)

Hi, you can use Data audit fields.
    For example,

    PS:
Dynamics 365 Business Central: How to display User Name from SystemCreatedBy/SystemModifiedBy field on the page (Translate a user security ID GUID to the corresponding user name)

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Yes, you can check the 'Created At' field. By default, this field is not visible on the page, but you can view it in the Page Inspection pane. Alternatively, you can add it by customizing the pages for the profile you're using. Unfortunately, this field cannot be added using the Personalization mode.
