Quality orders- Notify quality inspectors?

Is it possible to send a notification to quality inspectors when the quality order is triggered after production is done to say they can commence with the inspection of items? Like, if I am producing an item, when I go to report as finished I have set up a quality association to trigger a quality order so inspectors can do the check and update the test results. Can the system be set up to notify them every time a quality order is triggered. Nothing fancy.
Is it also possible to set up the system to automatically populate the results(from quality order) after inspection is done when I go report as finished? If I produced 100 items and 34 failed the quality test, it would be dreadful to update the good qty & error quantity every time production is done/ its easy to forget.
