maybe I have wrong expectations. I setup an item approval workflow. In this workflow a record restriction is set. I can see this in the list of restricted items.
I mentioned, that if a item is restricted I can not use them in sales lines or production orders, but in realty I can do everything. Unfortunately I found nothing on learn.microsoft about this topic. What happen when an item is restricted? Same question is for customers and vendors.
