Credit Memo for to prepayment inoice

Dear All,
 
I would appreciate if someone help me how can create credit memo for one specific prepayment invoice when we have more than one prepayment invoice for one sale or purchase order. I tried to do that but when create credit memo in sale order form the system sum all prepayment invoice amount.

    this is the out of box behavior per MS documentation. A credit memo will reverse all the posted prepayment invoices. Consider a customization if needed. I also includes the MS documentation for reference.
