    Here it is:

Professional: The most comprehensive license designed for users who are engaged in end-to-end customer relationship management scenarios. Licensed users can access full sales, service, and marketing capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This license is highly recommended for CRM and extended CRM scenarios.

Basic: The license is designed for entry level CRM users who need access to basic CRM functionality such as account, contact, lead, and case management. This license is also designed for business analysts who require reporting capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Finally, this license is suited for users who are engaged in end-to-end custom application scenarios.

Here you can get complete license guide: download.microsoft.com/.../Microsoft%20Dynamics%20CRM%202016%20On-Premises%20Licensing%20and%20Pricing%20Guide.pdf

Enterprise licences have full access to all the modules in CRM and basic just for out of the box entities like account , contact , lead.. ect. In basic user licence they can't create workflow and business rules and many more. For more details pls chk the below reference.

Hope the licensing model mentioned in the below image is applicable, for "CRM 2016 on premise" server as well?

    hi Krish,

there is a change in CRM 2016 Licensing to Dynamics 365 licensing prices. As per concerned only CRM 2016 premise there is no change . for better clarity and discounts you can check with Microsoft.
