Current Fiscal Year in Book Setup is disabled , unable to change fiscal year

Dear 

In Fixed Assets we are trying to change the "Current Fiscal Year" from 2014 to 2015 in order to run depreciation but in the Book Setup , it is disabled , i am not able to drop the list and select 2015

Any ideas why ?

    RE: Current Fiscal Year in Book Setup is disabled , unable to change fiscal year

    You need to perform the Fixed Assets YE close.  Financial>>Routines>>Fixed Assets>>Year End.  That will advance the year for you.  Manually changing the year can do bad things to depreciation calculations in the future.
