Hi community,

I am having problems in setting up Datalogic Magellan 8400 .

Is there suppose to be a usb port for Datalogic Magellan 8400 ? I can not locate it .

I was told it is best to use Magellan OSP.

My unit ,  Magellan 8400 has 2 RS232 Cables one for the Scale ( Com1 ) and one for the Scanner ( Com2).

When I use the DualTest.exe , after changing setting in regedit mode I get reading for the Scale (a weighted item) and Scanner .

When I connect it to The Pos program No Reading for Scale and Scanner shows the number and that is it

How can I set the scanner to read the bar code and added to the system?

regards

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question.

If you have not yet, I would recommend contact Magellan for support with the setup, as they would be best to assist you with this issue.

    Thank you,
