Hi
I am new here.
I have some years expirence with 2011 but I am new with 2015.
How remove a quick add from opportunity product on opportunity entity and force to open the window?

Hi,

Just customize this view, you may add some additional column or can remove some existing field, after that you won't get inline editing feature, it will open new window.

Thanks for replay, but I see this change helpful to deactivate the grid in-line change, but my problem is with quick create.

On opportunity product grid has a "+" button, when clicked this options are available "Existing product" and "Write-in product". When choose "Existing product" the product selection is shown (image below). I need to remove this "quick create" and the Opportunity Product entity be open.

You can use the Ribbon Workbench addon to modify the behaviour of the "+" button. (Note: for me at least RW doesn't work in Chrome; I needed to switch to IE for it to work. That's just for the addon itself, though - the results seem to work consistently in any browser.)

Hi Joao,

I amnot sure can you now try to go to the opportunity product entity setting in customization? And then disable the quick create feature and if not working also you go to the form of the opp product and deactivate the quick create form?

Joao you can also try to modify the plus button ribbon in the opp product subgrid.

I did a research is the example:

Allisson, We try using the Ribbon Workbench but in initial attempts without success.

Aileen,
I am applying your suggestion but nothing changed (neither an error was showed). Even forcing the event callPopUp(gridControl) nothing changed. Testing the code (forcing a error) I observed that code is executed. I removed the other grids but the problem persists.
The only difference is with the version, I using the 2015 update 0.1 on-premise and the article uses the 1.0.

Hi Joao,

Thats simple, you have to hide the add existing button on the subgrid of opportunity products. Use ribbon workbench for it.

Hi Surmeet

The OpportunityProduct doesn't have the same behavior that other grid. The plus button open a menu options. I am try to customizing or hide that but without success.
