Hi, Is it possible to install GP7.5 on Windows 7 64bit ? If there are particular step required hints would be great.

If you run in XP compatibility mode, you can probably get it to work.   I am not an OS expert, but have done this once a month or 2 ago.   That was for version 9 but should be the same case for 7.5.

Hmmm, do you have the installation disk downloaded, if so then thats all, unless some dictionaries are shared, but if not, then it should be straight. and on 64 bit remember to setup the odbc from SYSWOW64 not system32

Hi francisco, I do not have the installation disk, the last time that a client has been added the tech guy copy the files from another computer client and the he went into the server to share a file, do you know what file I should copy, I think thy ar at least 5 files that I have to take from the other pc. Thanks!!

    Hi Pat,

By reading your two postings about the win7 GP client installation, it sounds that you're flying without a pilot in your plane :-)... Don't you have an MBS partner to help you with this ? Without proper support from a partner and/or access to the Customer Source, you'll fly pretty blind.

Please see my suggestions in the other post.
