Duplicate Detection with special characters

Hello Everyone,

I recently migrated on CRM On 2016 and i'm facing a small "problem" with duplicate detections.

It seems that as soon as my contact has a character like : ü, û, ä, etc  the duplicate detection doesn't work.

My rule is based on a exact match for the full name and the email.

The "funny" thing is that let's say i have a contact called fïrstnâme lastname and i try to create a contact with the exact same value, i won't get a warning.

But if i create the contact with a full name like : firstname lastname (skipping the special characters) the duplicate detection will be triggered.

Any one have ever faced this and have a solution ?

Thanks a lot,

Clément

Alright sorry for this, it seems that switching from FullName to Firstname + Lastname solve the case.
