Date format in custom report layout

Dear all,

We are having some issues with the date format on the documents. We customize the reports in Word and we are now expriencing a change in the 

date format (2019 november 12 instead of 2019/11/12). Did anyone had this problem ?

    The date depends on your client setting.

    If you want to fix the format, you can do it in AL.

    For example:

    DateText := format(InputDate, 0, '<Year4> <Month Text> <Day,2>');

    I'm bringing this old post up.

    Is there any way to do the formatting directly in WORD and not AL

    We have clients who wants to just modified the custom word layout and all the required fields and logic exist already, so no coding is needed. Just some formatting.

    Is the only solution really through AL?

    Hi all

    I also had a problem with the date format on the customer statements in Business Central being  MM/dd/yyyy.  Tried to format the custom report layout, but nothing worked.  Eventually I changed the language from Englisth USA to English UK and the date format is now dd/mm/yy.  I do not know if Microsoft made a change for this?
