It Let Me Do It This Morning -- So, Why Not Now?

Hi:

Last week, I successfully used a Configuration Package to import fixed assets data including book and FA Journal Line for acquisitions and depreciation.

Of course, late last week after that, I was told to reimport a revised fixed assets master file.

This morning, the Configuration Package was so kind as to let me check "Delete Records" before processing" in order to remove the previous fixed assets data in the tables and allow me to reimport.

Then, later, I found out that the new file given to me had more changes in it than I realized.

Now, this configuration package won't let me go back and do what I did earlier this morning -- delete and start again.

Why in the world not?

What do you by "Fixed asset master file"?

You cannot use the delete records before processing the config lines on a table with related entries. For example, a record in the fixed asset table cannot be deleted if you have linked depreciation book to the asset or if you posted a depreciation journal against that asset.
