    Hi Rakhi,

Please refer to below Link of ADX studio. this will help you in understanding customization in CRM portal. Some of the feature might not be same as mentioned in this Guide, As this is applicable to ADX studio(prev. Version of CRM Portal).

    Hi Lakshmisha,

    Thanks for your response.

Can you please provide some link or any document which contains all the details about how to write JavaScript in Dynamics 365 Portals.

    Hi Rakhi,

JavaScript on the CRM side will not work in Portal. If you want to write a JavaScript in Portal then you can open the respective entity forms or Web pages and write your Java Script in "Custom JavaScript" in Additional setting tab or Advance tab(in case of Web Pages).

Mark as Answered if it Helps you.

    Hi Lakshmmisha,

Thanks for your response. I am new to this Dynamics 365 Portal. Can you please tell me if the Javascript code implemented in the CRM on the same entity will work in the dynamics 365 Portal?

It is not working from my end. Can you suggest any solution?

    Thanks

    Hi Rakhi,

Best method to get rid of this pole section is change the page template of that page. you can use "Full page" or create a custom page template as per your need and use that in this page.

    Hi Rakhi

Have you tried to deactivate (I wouldn't delete in case you need it at a later time) the Poll Placement(s)? In theory this should remove the frame that is now empty because there are no Poll records.

    Hi James,

I have deleted the Poll. But still it is showing the same error.

Actually, I have to show the entire form in the Dynamics portal, for that i need to remove that Poll section.

    Hi Rakhi

I've not seen that before, but I am using the older on premise version of ADX Studio rather than the Portals. For me setting the "Expiration Date" to a date in the past worked straight away. Did you delete or deactivate the Poll? I would now try deactivating the Poll Placement record(s) for that page and see if that removes the section.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Rakhi

This is a Poll and is easy to remove. They are controlled by 2 things; Poll Placements and Polls. Both can be found in the "Portals" menu.

Either you can deactivate the Poll Placement for that page, or deactivate/set the end date of the Polls that are currently in your system.

Page 178 onward of the Administrator's Guide to Portal Capabilities provides some more detail: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Dynamics/crm-setup-and-administration/gather-feedbacks-using-polls-on-a-portal.aspx

    Hope that helps

    James
